Research Title: From the Clinic to the Track: Developing Digital Biomarkers and Musculoskeletal Simulations Using Video-Based Motion Capture

Sydney is using advanced smartphone video capture and computer vision to study movement in amputee athletes and patients with rare neuromuscular diseases. She is developing digital biomarkers to quantify impairment and complement clinical assessments, while using motion capture and computer simulations to help amputee runners select blades that optimize performance and reduce injury risk.
