Research Title: Causal Generative Models for Genome-Scale Perturb-seq Prediction

Cells respond to genetic changes in ways we cannot yet predict. Peter is building machine learning models that learn cause-and-effect relationships among human genes from experiments perturbing them directly. These models will guide new lab experiments and identify drug targets for pulmonary arterial hypertension, a fatal lung and heart disease.
